BUNCO

Bunco is a game that requires little skill. Fun is the Goal! Bunco is a dice game that is played in rounds. Yet, it is so much more than just a dice game! It is an excuse to get together with friends and have some lively conversation and fun. This fast-paced dice game gets everyone involved at the same time, and it is a great excuse to forget the stresses of everyday life.

Monday Bunco

This group meets at Noon on the 4thMONDAY of each month in a member’s home. The hostess provides snacks, drinks and dessert.

Friday Bunco

This group usually meets at 12:30 PM on the second FRIDAY of the month in a member’s home. The hostess provides dessert and beverages.

MEXICAN TRAINS

This group meets the 3rd Tuesday afternoon each month, usually from 1-4

PINOCHLE

Ladies’ Afternoon Pinochle

Pinochle begins at Noon when the hostess will serve a light dessert. The group plays the fourth THURSDAY of each month and is open to all Newcomers.

HIKING / WALKING / snowshoeing

Friday Hiking/Snowshoeing

Hikes are easy to moderate and about two hours in length. A trail is selected for each week’s hike and notification is sent via email mid-week.

Casual Hiking/Walking

This group hikes on FRIDAYS, weather permitting. All are welcome!

Mah-Jongg

Mah-Jongg is starting up again. Dates times and locations are currently in the planning stage.

SKIING

Downhill Skiing

Most members have season passes at Alta, with some including Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude. The normal gatherings are Thursday morning at Albion at 9AM and lunchtime at Alf’s. You might also check out “SLC Newcomers’ Ski Group” on facebook.
